Freedom Palooza Festival Draws Patriots from Across United States

KINTERSVILLE, Pennsylvania—Freedom Palooza, a patriotic Independence Day celebration event, was held from June 30 to July 2 off the banks of the Delaware River. Organized by Paul Topete of the patriot rock group Poker Face for the second year in the row, Freedom Palooza is a unique concept of bringing together patriotic speakers from around the country along with politically oriented rock-n-roll bands for a weekend of fun and talk of how we can keep our country strong against the forces determined to tear it apart.

Over the three days more than 20 speakers spoke and over 20 bands played as the attendees mingled throughout Johnny Mac’s restaurant and the vast grounds surrounding it.Many had set up their tents on the 10-acre premises and camped out for the duration of the events while others stayed at nearby hotels. The sounds of patriot speakers and music filled the air by Poker Face and other bands, which included Billy Patrick, the Tank, Scrap Metal Bomb and Secret System.

AMERICAN FREE PRESS had three speakers this year. Jim Traficant, who also spoke at the event last year, was the star speaker. His bellowing voice captivated the audience as he talked about the dire state of the country and offered solutions for fixing it.

AFP’s web guru Dave Gahary talked about his experiences with the N.Y. Stock Exchange and explained how that organization has been totally taken over and corrupted by what he calls “locusts” with dual U.S.-Israeli citizenship.

This writer spoke about the economic crisis in Greece and how Iceland was really the model not only for Greece but for all of us to emulate. Get rid of the bankers and create our own money again is the answer.

Presidential candidate Merlin Miller of the American Third Position party spoke about the upcoming elections and his party’s positions on restoring the vision that the Founding Fathers had for America.

Jim Condit spoke about how the Ron Paul campaign was heavily infiltrated by establishment operatives. He suggested more people get involved in politics at the local level and take back the government from the ground up. Delaware sheriff Jeff Christopher warned that if we don’t wake up right now we will lose our country once and for all. An assault is being waged across the country to undermine the role of the publicly elected sheriff and replace him with the police state apparatus. It is vital we support our sheriffs and Delaware is currently spearheading the fight.

Cindy Steele spoke about her husband Edgar’s 50-year sentence for a crime he never committed. She related her struggle to get that ruling reversed and to get an appeal.

Perhaps the most provocative speaker was Larry Sinclair. He told of the incredible lies Obama has told America. He described his book, which exposed how in 1998 he repeatedly had sexual relations with Obama while also engaging in illicit drug use. Sinclair has passed polygraph tests but has been viciously attacked by the government and media. Those of us who listened to him and interviewed him with tough questions agreed that his story seems to be true. Unfortunately all the speakers cannot be listed here, but they all had significant things to say.

Freedom Palooza had hundreds of people show up at different times throughout the threeday weekend. Although this year’s crowd was larger than last year’s it was nowhere near what an event with this many top speakers and bands should get. Topete deservesmuch praise formaking it happen. Surely, asmore people learn about it in the future, it will attract the thousands of attendees it deserves to have. Topete can be contacted at P.O. Box 9200, Allentown, PA 18105

Peter Papaherakles, a U.S. citizen since 1986, was born in Greece. He is AFP’s outreach director. If you would like to see AFP speakers at your rally, contact Pete at 202-544-5977.
